In this article, we will explain on the statement,
“Species Diversity is the most visible component of Biodiversity.”
Species Diversity refers to the differences between domesticated and wild types of living things, whether they are animals, plants, or other organisms. It’s called “species” diversity because it’s all about the variety of different kinds of life we can see.
Scientists have different guesses about how many species there are on Earth. Some say there could be as few as five million, while others think there might be as many as 100 million. Most experts agree that there are around 12.5 million species, but we’ve only described about 1.7 million of them so far. Insects and micro-organisms make up the biggest groups of living things on our planet.
